Gardening/Pot Plant competition 2026

We would like to invite all DAMHA residents to submit entries for our 2026 Gardening/Pot Plant competition where we once again will be offering two winning cash prizes, as well as money for the runners-up

After a very wet start to the year, at the time of writing the summer weather has been very kind so hopefully this will be reflected in your amazing gardens/pot plants when we come to judge them in July.

There will be two first prizes again this year, one for the best garden and one for the best pot plants, so please don’t be put off if you only have space for pot plants as we know what a lovely difference they can make.

Each winner will receive £50, and there will 2nd and 3rd cash prizes, as usual.

We never cease to be amazed by the efforts people go to make their homes look even nicer by having lovely gardens and/or pot plants, and hopefully this year we will receive lots of entries from people who haven’t entered before, although we always welcome submissions from people who have entered before.

All you need to do to enter is send a couple of pictures of your garden/pot plant display, along with your name, address and contact details, before the closing date on 17th July. This can be done by emailing hsinden@damha.org.uk or by post to our head office. You can also put your neighbours forward if you think they deserve to win, although please check with them first before doing this.

We will also be asking our staff/contractors to highlight any gardens/pot plants they see when they are out and about, and provided you are happy to be included, we will include these in the judging process too.
